Marketing sees a slow follow-up. Sales sees an incomplete enquiry. Operations sees another system to maintain.

Bring those perspectives into the same room before deciding what to build.

Start with an AI roundtable. Ask people to share recurring frustrations, existing experiments and concerns. Map the information and decisions involved, then choose one challenge worth testing.

Follow with a small hackathon. Mixed teams use approved sample material to explore an approach, record what happens and demonstrate the result. Coding is optional; a well-tested prototype or revised workflow can be useful.

Agree on the success measure before the experiment begins. Include a difficult case, such as missing information or a request outside the agreed scope.

Finish with a decision: develop a pilot, investigate further or stop. Assign an owner, a next step and a review date.

ATD can design and facilitate the roundtable and mini hackathon, keeping the challenge relevant to marketing while involving the colleagues who make the process work. Skills workshops teach people a practice; these sessions help a team choose and test an opportunity together.
