A single campaign is often expected to build awareness, generate leads, improve perception and increase sales. Then every stakeholder adds something else.

The agency can accommodate all those requests on paper. The result may be work with no clear centre.

Choose the primary job. If the immediate need is qualified enquiries, make that the main outcome. Awareness may support it, but should not quietly become an equally important requirement.

Then write down the trade-offs. Would you accept fewer enquiries if more were suitable? Is reaching a new audience more important than converting existing interest?

This gives the agency a basis for recommending what to do and what to leave out. It gives your team a fair way to judge the recommendation, too.

Focus can save money by removing work that does not serve the agreed objective. It also makes it easier to spot a good idea that looks different from the one you originally imagined.
