An AI tool can turn one idea into many visual directions quickly. That is useful. It can also produce twenty polished versions of an idea that was weak to begin with.

The human role starts before generation. Choose the customer insight, the product truth and the creative constraint. Tell the tool what must remain accurate and what can be explored.

Then review the output as a responsible brand. Check product details, written claims, visual inconsistencies, representation and whether the scene could mislead a customer. Do not assume an attractive image is accurate or cleared for use.

For D2C work, take particular care with shape, packaging, colour and scale. An invented feature can become a false expectation. Real product references and human checking matter.

Use AI to explore and assist production. Keep people accountable for selecting, correcting and approving the work. The advantage is more room to try useful ideas, provided someone still knows why an idea deserves to exist.
