A lovely product photograph can make someone pause. It may not answer the question keeping them from buying.

For D2C brands, content should reduce uncertainty. Show scale, texture, use, care and limitations. Explain who the product suits and who may need something different. Let people see it in a believable setting.

Think about the questions you would ask without being able to touch the product. Will it fit? How does it work? What comes in the box? What happens if it is not right for me? Bring the answers into the content and the product page.

Customer stories can help when they are permissioned, specific and honest. Do not script praise as though it were independent feedback. If a creator is paid or gifted a product, make that relationship clear.

Good D2C social media connects inspiration with reassurance. Make the next step easy, then ensure the experience behind it matches what you showed.
