A small monthly fee is tempting. Especially when every proposal promises strategy, design, captions and growth. The trouble is that identical words can describe very different amounts of work.
A cheap agency is not automatically a poor agency. A focused team with a clear scope can offer excellent value. The risk begins when the price cannot support the thinking, production and attention being promised.
Someone pays for that gap. It might be your team rewriting every caption, your customers getting unanswered queries or your brand publishing interchangeable templates. The invoice stays small while the internal workload grows.
Compare the work behind the fee. Who learns your product? Who writes? How much original production is included? Who checks claims and responds to comments? Ask to see the reasoning behind a real piece of client work.
Buy a scope you can afford and hold the agency to it. Ten thoughtful pieces with clear responsibilities may serve you better than thirty pieces nobody has time to think about.
