When every brand has access to the same templates and tools, looking competent becomes easier. Being worth noticing still takes an idea.

Creativity begins with an observation. Something your customer does, worries about or laughs at. Something your product makes possible. The useful question is not Which trend can we copy? It is What can we say that feels recognisably ours?

A kitchenware brand might show the awkward moment its design solves. A clothing label might explain a fit problem through a funny, familiar scene. The format follows the insight.

Give creative work boundaries: the audience, the truth you want to communicate and the response you hope to create. Then allow room to explore. A brief that dictates every frame leaves little space for discovery.

Novelty alone is not enough. If people remember the joke but cannot connect it to the brand or product, the idea needs another turn. Aim for work people recognise, remember and have a reason to share.
